Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule allows children aged 2 to 17 to access up to $1158 for dental services over a 2 calendar year period and is bulk billed at at Manor Lakes Dental Centre
Maintaining excellent dental health for our children throughout their childhood provides them with the best possible chance of maintaining excellent dental health in adulthood. This is why the Australian Federal Government’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule is such an important public health initiative.
At our clinic, we are proud to offer fully Bulk Billed dental services under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is designed to provide dental care to approximately 3.4 million Australian children aged from 2 to 17 years old. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule covers up to $1,158 over a 2 calendar year period for basic dental services such as dental exams, dental x-rays, dental fillings, fissure sealants, extractions, root canals and partial dentures. The CDBS $1,158 is replenished every two years.
We have been overwhelmed by the positive response of the community to this government initiative and it has been extremely rewarding to help so many deserving children achieve excellent dental health.
At our clinic we offer the full range of dental services specified in the Child Dental Benefits Schedule. To be eligible to claim the $1,158 worth of dental care under the CDBS, you will need to be eligible for Medicare, receive a Family Tax Benefit Part A or equivalent government payment for at least part of the calendar year and be aged from 2 to 17 years for at least one day of the calendar year.
Over the years the Child Dental Benefits Schedule has helped thousands of children access much needed dental care. Helping so many children in need has been one of the most rewarding experiences for us.
It is great to be able to provide such high quality dental treatments to these children and to help set them up for a lifetime of healthy dental habits. Starting children on healthy dental habits early can help prevent many dental problems later in life.
To check your eligibility for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, please contact one of our friendly receptionists. They can advise you of your eligibility by checking online government portal.

You will be charged the same amount as if you were visiting community dental clinic. However, the voucher may not cover certain dental services. The vouchers are valid only for 3 months from the day they are issued.
Victorian Emergency Dental Scheme (VEDS)
VEDS is a public dental scheme intended to provide emergency treatment to eligible Victorians. You will be charged the same amount as if you were visiting community dental clinic.
